Campos drivers pick up five place penalties for yellow flag infringements
Both of Campos Racing’s drivers Hugo Valente and John Filippi will drop five places from wherever they qualify for the first race tomorrow in Hungary, after behind found guilty by the stewards of ignoring the yellow flags in Free Practice 1.
Filippi and Valente were both found in breach of Article 2.4.5.1b of the FIA International Sporting Code for failing to slow down for the yellow flags, which were out in the second sector for several minutes during the practice for debris at Turn 11.
The two Chevrolet drivers have struggled in the wet conditions at the Hungaroring, with Filippi 15th and Valente 17th at the end of the second free practice session.
