Sébastien Loeb heads Citroën 1-2-3 in Argentina testing

Sébastien Loeb topped the first test session of the 2015 FIA World Touring Car Championship premiere weekend in Argentina, setting a fastest lap time of 1:54.132. The Citroën driver headed two team-mates, with Yvan Muller in second place and reigning champion José Maria López third.

Best non-Citroën driver was Tiago Monteiro in fourth position for Honda Racing Team JAS. Ma Qing Hua and Mehdi Bennani made it five Citroëns in the top six in positions five and six.

Hugo Valente was fastest of the Chevrolet drivers for Campos Racing in seventh ahead of James Thompson in the new Lada Vesta in eighth. ROAL Motorsport driver Tom Chilton and Proteam Racing driver Dušan Borković rounded out the top ten.

The session started with a damp track, but all drivers went out on slicks. The next session is Free Practice 1 tomorrow at 08:45 local time.
