Dusan Borković joins Proteam Racing

Dušan Borković has signed a contract to race a Honda Civic for Proteam Racing in the 2015 FIA World Touring Car Championship.
”I always wanted to drive Honda race car because of their amazing racing history. That is why I am really happy and looking forward to driving my new car and am hoping for great results,” said Borković.

The Serbian raced a Chevrolet Cruze for Campos Racing in the 2014 WTCC season and finished 14th overall with a second place as best individual result.

“I am starting my second, hopefully better season with a new team and car. I am really grateful to Campos Racing team for our cooperation in my debut WTCC season. Together with JAS and Proteam I will have to learn fast about the Honda so that I can be ready for the pre-season tests. The most important thing is that I managed to fit in Honda Civic TC1 with my 207 cm, but I believe they should build a larger cockpit for my size,” said Borković with a smile.

Borković is going to test the JAS Motorsport-built Honda Civic in February for the first time during the official WTCC test in Spain.

Borković replaces Mehdi Bennani at Proteam Racing who has joined Sébastien Loeb Racing for the 2015 season.
