Igor Skuz leads Campos 1-2 in second Pergusa test
Ukrainian driver Igor Skuz was fastest in the second one-hour test session at the Pergusa circuit ahead of team-mate and TC2T class leader Nikolay Karamyshev, with the two turbocharged Chevrolets closely followed by the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320si of Christian Fischer.
Mat’o Homola was 1.1 seconds off the pace in the third quickest of the TC2T class runners, fourth overall, in the BMW 320 TC, with last year’s S2000 champion Petr Fulín and current TC2 points leader fifth quickest.
Dmitry Bragin was the fastest of the Single-Make Trophy SEAT León Supercopa drivers in seventh, almost three seconds slower than the pace-setting Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T of Skuz.
Only three of the S1600 runners took part in the session, with the two title challengers Ulrike Krafft and Gilles Bruckner chosing to sit out the session, leaving Christian Kranenberg to go fastest of all.
The Free Practice session takes place at 13:30 CET.
