First image of 2014 WTCC Honda Civic

Honda has shown a first computer generated image of the new 2014 WTCC Honda Civic, built according to the new TC1 Super 2000 regulations.

The cars features larger aerodynamical aids, increased power and a lowered weight, promising for lap times that are about three to five seconds faster per lap.

Honda will run two factory cars for Gabriele Tarquini and Tiago Monteiro next year, as well as two privateer cars for Norbert Michelisz and Mehdi Bennani.

The new Honda Civic is scheduled for its first run in January.
