Daniel Roos replaces Alexander Graff at Mantorp Park
Daniel Roos is going to replace Alexander Graff at Picko Troberg Racing for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season finale at Mantorp Park next weekend.
“I am going to do my best and drive as fast as possible. When I got the chance to drive, it wasn’t hard to say yes. It is going to be great fun to work with the team,” said Roos.
Graff has raced for the team since the season start, a cooperation that is ended with one race remaining of the season.
“We have had a good cooperation with Alexander Graff and it is sad to have to abort it. At the same time, this gives us a really good opportunity to evaluate a really good driver for next season,” said Börje Wessman, team manager of Picko Troberg Racing.
Roos is going to double up in the season finale at Mantorp Park as the 24-year-old is racing for the title in the support class V8 Thunder Cars as well.
“I have no problem in changing cars, it won’t take many laps until I am in the zone. I am really grateful that Picko (Troberg) has given me this opportunity. My goal is to drive STCC, it is the toughest class in Sweden and it stands well internationally as well,” said Roos.
