Jerónimo António Badaraco joins the grid from Japan

Macanese driver Jerónimo António Badaraco will join the field for the last three rounds of the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship, driving in a normally aspirated Chevrolet Cruze LT, and will compete for the new-for-2013 WTCC Asia Trophy.

The 39-year-old will make his WTCC debut at Suzuka, having previously driven a Honda Accord in the CTM Macau Cup at the Macau Grand Prix weekend. The Son Veng Racing Team, which ran a Honda Accord for Leong Ian Veng at Shanghai last season, will prepare and run the Cruze for Badaraco.
