Citroën teases with video of new WTCC challenger
Citroën have released a video showing a glimpse of their new World Touring Car Championship challenger as it is constructed for the 2014 season, with nine-time World Rally champion Sébastien Loeb at the wheel.
The title of the project has the codename of ‘M43’, and an unpainted vehicle is shown being built during the 42 second video clip released by the French manufacturer.
A shot of the vehicle within the video would seem to show that the chosen model of the marquee will be the C-Elysée, Citroën’s C-segment saloon model aimed at new markets for the manufacturer, which include Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia, where the World Touring Car Championship has been predominantly focussed in recent years.
