Two Jack Sears Trophy drivers to sit out race day at Croft
Two of the Jack Sears Trophy runners are sitting out race day at Croft.
Finesse Racing’s Joe Girling suffered a huge qualifying shunt exiting the chicane, and his Chevrolet Cruze has been too badly damaged to be repaired at the track.
A message tweeted by Girling’s team on Saturday night said: “We are sorry to say the damage to the car can’t be repaired at the circuit so we won’t be out racing tomorrow.”
Girling will be joined on the sidelines by Warren Scott, whose Team BMR Restart Seat Leon has a timing belt issue.
