Christian Klien to join Liqui Moly Team Engstler at Spa

Former Formula 1 driver Christian Klien will make his touring car debut in the ADAC Procar Series at next weekend’s round at Spa-Francorchamps behind the wheel of a Super 2000 specification BMW 320si.

The Austrian driver will take over the car raced by Michael Bräutigam last weekend at Oschersleben, and will join 2011 champion Johannes Leidinger at the team at one of his favourite circuits.

“In Formula 1 I got my first points here driving a Jaguar, and in 2009 I was able to win the 1000km race of Spa together with Peugeot,” said Klien.

“Now I am hoping for a successful racing weekend also in the Super 2000 touring car.”
