Petr Fulín takes pole position in Slovakia
Petr Fulín has taken his second pole position of the 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup season at the Slovakiaring, fighting off competition from the Slovakian driver Mat’o Homola.
Fulín’s best lap of 2:16.260, set early in the session, was enough to secure the S2000 points leader pole position, whilst Homola was able to get within half a second of his time.
Aurélien Comte was third fastest and the best placed of the Single-Make Trophy drivers, just ahead of class rivals Andreas Pfister, Jordi Oriola and Ferenc Ficza in the SEAT Supercopas.
Peter Rikli was the third quickest of the S2000 drivers in seventh, followed by the SEATs of Anton Ladygin, Norbert Nagy, Nicolas Hamilton and Nikolay Karamyshev.
Kevin Krammes secured another pole position in the Super 1600 class in his Ravenol Team GENA Ford Fiesta with the Ravenol Team SAN drivers “Romeo Luciano” second and Ulrike Krafft third.
The first race starts at 11:35 on Sunday.
