Petr Fulín fastest in Slovakiaring free practice
Krenek Motorsport driver Petr Fulín was fastest in the final practice session at the Slovakiaring in his BMW 320si. Fulín was just under half a second faster than Aurélien Comte in the Galaxy Racing SEAT Supercopa.
Fulín maintained Krenek Motorsport’s dominance of the sessions so far this weekend with the fastest time of 2:16.771. The Czech driver’s closest rival in the Super 2000 drivers’ classification was team-mate Michal Matejovsky who was third fastest overall.
Ferenc Ficza was fourth fastest and the second in the Single-Make Trophy class cars running for the Zengo Junior Team, with local driver Mat’o Homola fifth overall in his Homola Motorsport BMW 320si, and third in the S2000 class.
S1600 points leader Kevin Krammes was fastest in the class, 20th overall in the Ravenol Team GENA Ford Fiesta, 1.6 seconds faster than Ravenol Team SAN’s Ulrike Krafft.
In the Ladie Drivers’ Trophy classification, Andrina Gugger was the best placed driver in her Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic, setting the 14th fastest time, 3.4 seconds slower than Fulín’s time.
Qualifying for the ETCC gets underway at 14:45 CET.
