Petr Fulín fastest in first test at Monza

Petr Fulín dominated the first test session at Monza ahead of this weekend’s FIA European Touring Car Cup premiere. The BMW driver was over 1.8 seconds faster than the closest competitor in the form of the fastest single-make trophy driver Andreas Pfister in his SEAT León Supercopa.

The second fastest S2000 driver and third fastest overall was Christian Fischer, driving a BMW 320si for Liqui Moly Team Engstler.

BMW and SEAT dominated the top of the session by occupying nine places in the top ten. Third fastest S2000 driver and fourth fastest overall was Dusan Borkovic in his SEAT León TFSI, ahead of Michal Matejovský in a BMW 320si.

The second fastest Single-make Trophy driver was Jordi Oriola, two tenths faster than manufacturer colleague Anton Ladygin.

The top S1600 driver was Gilles Bruckner in the Team LuxMotor Ford Fiesta, three tenths faster than fellow Ford driver Kevin Krammes.

A total of 31 cars took part in the session which is to be followed by the second test session, starting at 17.00 CET.
