First pics: WSR BMW 125i testing at Brands Hatch [updated]

The BMW 125i NGTC has made its first public appearance at Brands Hatch today as West Surrey Racing completes their first shakedown with the new car.

“We are looking forward to the testing sessions for our new eBay Motors BMW 125i prior to the Dunlop MSA BTCC season commencing and particularly excited about unveiling the new car livery at the launch event on the 13th March. Well done to the lads at WSR for another all-nighter to get the car ready,” said Dick Bennetts, Team Principal of WSR.

Colin Turkington and Nick Foster were driving the car during the shakedown. The team is going to field three BMWs in the British Touring Car Championship this year for Turkington, Foster and Rob Collard.

Also present at Brands Hatch today is RML and Motorbase with drivers Tom Chilton (WTCC) and Liam Griffin (BTCC), among others.
