Flash Engineering confirms DTC entry

Flash Engineering is going to take part in the Danish Touring Car Championship this year with two cars alongside their programme for the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
“To take part in the DTC is a step in our international expansion of the team. We are always going for the top and our programme for DTC is no exception,” said driver Jan “Flash” Nilsson.

The STCC and DTC runs their first race of the season together this weekend at Jyllandsringen as a part of a four race Scandinavian Touring Car Cup, alongside the regular championships.

“To take part in both championships gives us many advantages. We are going to get a lot of mileage on the danish tracks that are also part of the Swedish championship,” said driver Thed Björk.

Championship organizer Peter Elgaard is happy to see the Swedish team entering DTC.

“We are very happy to get a top team like Flash Engineering in the DTC and wish them the best of luck this year,” said Elgaard.

One of the DTC races, Ring Djursland on the 14/15th of august, clashes with the STCC race at Karlskoga.

“That is going to be a challenge for us. The ambition is to head straight down to Ring Djursland during the night after the race and take part in the Danish race,” said “Flash”.
