Magnussen and Elgaard team up for DTC and STCC

Jan Magnussen and Casper Elgaard are going to take part in the Danish Touring Car Championship and the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup this year.
“It is a new situation this year with a new team, a new team mate and new people virtually all over,” said Magnussen.

The two are joint together driving a pair of BMW 320si in a new team: Team Bauhaus Telesikring.

“I am delighted to get started with the new team. Jan and I have often talked about being in the same team,” said Elgaard.

Other than taking part full season in the DTC, the both are going to fight for the honors in the Scandinavian Cup where the DTC and the Swedish Touring Car Championship are joint together for four races.

“It is really exciting to be involved in the start of something that I am sure will grow really big. This year we are going to meet the Swedes in four races, but it will be more in the future,” said Elgaard.

The team is aiming high for both the DTC and the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup.

“We are going for it, both in the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup and the DTC. Although we are going to have to see, we do not know how good the Swedes are, but they are certainly good,” said Magnussen.
