Kia could enter BTCC

Kia is on the way to BTCC according to Motorsport News. The manufacturer is reported to be on the way of forming a two car team for the british championship.

“We have talked about this. It is something we are looking at to see if the time is right for us to go in this direction,” a Kia spokesman said.

“We have talked to some of the teams and we have had a chat with the series organisers to check out the viability of this kind of project. We´re not in detailed negotiations. We look at the viability of activity in this way from time to time.”

The rumoured model for BTCC is the Rio or the Cerato according to Autosport.
